socks5 (default), http, https; no MTProto. An owned account may also use a rental proxy allocated to you. A rented account is never re-pointed to another rental proxy. A proxy held by an active or warming account is refused (409).
Recovery, rental proxies
  • 4+ failed connects in 15 min: the sticky session is swapped, new exit IP, same credentials
  • at most once per 30 min per account, 10 per sweep
  • held back while over 30 % of accounts fail: that is an outage
  • still failing after 6 h: paused, proxy_unreachable
  • manual rotate: your own proxies only
Traffic
  • 50 MB per rental bundle per month included
  • beyond that, $6 per GB from the wallet; top up data any time at $6/GB
  • your own proxies are not metered
  • bulk import: up to 100 proxies per request
Proxy test, three stepson demand, or on create with test_on_create
  1. 1Public hostresolved IP must be public; private, loopback, link-local, multicast, reserved fail
  2. 2One requestGET http://api.ipify.org through the proxy
  3. 3Recordreachable or unreachable, exit IP, latency
Nothing is quarantined or retested on a timer. Worker start: offline leak check, proxy host ≠ server IP (else paused, ip_leak). Unreachable proxy: account retried at 30 min, doubling, 5 tries.
